Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 2026

We're a small software maker, and our approach to your data is simple: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and our payments run through Paddle so we never touch your card details. This notice explains what we do hold, why, and the rights you have over it.

Who is responsible for your data

ForALot, a sole proprietorship, is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us.

Payments and our reseller

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details and billing information under its own privacy policy, and shares with us a limited set of order data — your name, billing country, email address, and purchase history. We do not receive or store your full card details.

What we collect and why

Our software runs on your own computer. It doesn't require an account, and it doesn't upload your projects, recordings, or files to us in order to work. What you make stays with you.

Legal basis

We process order data to perform our contract with you and to meet legal (tax and accounting) obligations, and support data on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping customers. Where we rely on consent — such as marketing email — you may withdraw it at any time.

Marketing

We send service emails about your purchase and licence — such as your receipt, getting-started information, and licence or security notices — to every buyer; marketing email is separate and sent only if you have opted in. Every marketing message includes a one-click unsubscribe. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to support you and to meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us; we respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

International transfers

Because Paddle and our tools operate globally, your data may be processed outside your country under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We will post any update to this notice on this page and revise the date above.
